Before you pay, checkout makes you tick a box that reads: "I confirm that this is a digital entertainment product and that I have the right to publish the submitted content." That is two promises — that you understand this is a joke product and not a real memorial service, and that the content is yours to publish. We mean both of them. The rules below are what "the right to publish" looks like in practice.
Good burials
- Your first gamertag, your cringe 2011 handle, your retired clan tag
- A squadmate's tag they'd actually laugh at seeing buried
- A dead game's username, a meme handle, or a fictional alias
Not okay
See our full Content Policy for the complete list. In short: nothing that targets a real person without their consent, nothing that could be read as a genuine death announcement or threat, and nothing sexual, hateful, or involving minors.
Reporting
Every memorial page has a "Report this memorial" link. Reports go to our moderation queue; memorials that collect multiple reports are automatically hidden while we review.
