RIP GamerTag is a digital entertainment and personalization product for burying retired gamertags and usernames. It is operated by [[NEEDS OWNER INPUT: registered legal entity name, company/registration number, and registered address]] ("we," "us"). By using this site you agree to these terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use this site, and at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live) to make a purchase.
What you're buying
Paid purchases provide a hosted digital memorial page, a unique URL, a shareable image, and a digital certificate. Nothing purchased on this site is a physical product, a legal service, or a real funeral, memorial, spiritual, financial, or therapeutic service.
Payment and refunds
Payment is taken through PayPal. Prices are shown at checkout in US dollars. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Your content
You are solely responsible for the content you submit. At checkout you confirm that this is a digital entertainment product and that you have the right to publish the content you submitted. By submitting content you also confirm it does not violate our Content Policy or Community Guidelines.
Moderation and removal
We may remove, hide, or refuse to publish content that violates these terms or our content policies, with or without notice, at our discretion.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any memorial page, though paid memorials are intended to be hosted indefinitely absent a policy violation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RIP GamerTag is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, the site, or anything purchased on it (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the laws of [[NEEDS OWNER INPUT: governing law jurisdiction, e.g. the State of X, USA]], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Jurisdiction and disputes
You and we agree that the courts of [[NEEDS OWNER INPUT: courts with exclusive jurisdiction, e.g. the state and federal courts located in X]] have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there. Nothing in this section removes any right you have as a consumer to bring proceedings in, or rely on the mandatory consumer protection laws of, the country where you live. Before filing anything, please email hello@ripgamertags.com — most issues are a refund or a takedown and can be settled the same week.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
