Refund Policy

RIP GamerTag sells digital content that is generated and delivered immediately after payment. That shapes when refunds apply.

You get a refund when

• Your memorial failed to generate or publish due to a technical error on our end.
• You were charged more than once for the same memorial (duplicate charge).
• Your memorial was rejected by moderation before publishing and you don't want to resubmit.

Refunds are limited once content is delivered

Once your memorial has been successfully generated, published, and delivered (page live, share image and certificate available), refunds are limited, except where required by applicable consumer law. This mirrors standard practice for custom digital goods.

How to request one

Email hello@ripgamertags.com with your memorial URL or receipt. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

How refunds are processed

We accept payment through PayPal only. Approved refunds are issued as a PayPal refund against the original transaction — PayPal returns the money to the PayPal account you paid from, and from there to the funding source you originally used (bank account, card, or PayPal balance). We cannot refund to a different account, a different payment method, or by any other route, because the refund has to follow the original transaction.

Refunds usually appear within a few business days, though card and bank refunds can take longer depending on your provider. You do not need a PayPal account to request a refund, but the money will be returned through the same PayPal transaction either way.
